BMW has recently revealed the new livery of the 2000 Williams FW22 car which is based on their famous logo. The driver line-up is planned to be the same with Schumacher and Zanardi, however, the Italian driver's future has been put in doubt by speculation that either he has resigned from the team, or Williams have sacked him due to his abismal performance in 1999 when he failed to score any points.

2000 is the first year that the USA has held a Grand Prix for 9 years. The track is mainly based on a newly built infield section of the famous oval with one corner and a straight included from the Indy Circuit (see left).

The new livery of the Stewart Formula One car is, to correspond with the renaming of the team, predominantly green. Earlier this year, the Ford Corporation bought Stewart for a sum believed to be about £100 million. They bought it off Jackie Stewart and his son Paul, who stay as Chairman and MD of the team.
